School History

Hereford Preparatory Academy was established in 2012. It serves all 8th grade students in the Hereford Independent School District. From the beginning, HPA has established a school culture of positive relationships, leadership and excellence. In addition to the required core curriculum, our students become prepared for high school and beyond through a broad elective offering including leadership and career exploration, student-led clubs, and extra-curricular activities. HPA is supported by its parent and community involvement components, which are key to the success of our students. HPA is More than a School!
